Hey there, my name is Tami and I live in a very small town in northern Indiana. I've been married to my wonderful husband for almost 23 years and we have 3 kids (20, 19 & 12). I'm not sure how I stumbled across MJF's magazine but I'm sure glad I did. Reading the magazines makes me long for a simpler way of life with healthier eating and a desire to find my passion. I love that women all over are doing what they love and that's what I'm looking for and I figured this was the best place to start. I enjoy cooking, reading, and nature hikes. Gardening is something I think I would like to try but am not really sure where to start. I'm looking forward to finding my way around here and learning new things.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I've been looking my way around and am amazed at all the crafts, recipes and just plain good ol' friendships that I see. I do have one question tho (I've tried finding the original post ~ but have had no luck), anyhoo, what is a swap and how does it work??

Hi Tami and welcome from Wisconsin! You're going to love this site and you'll learn so many cool things here. Reading the magazine and being here online just makes me want to make my home the best it can be. My kids are grown and on their own but have one grandson so far and I really want to leave him with wonderful memories of gramma's house. I love crafting and arty things and dabble a bit in lots of different things. If I see it and it looks interesting there is a good chance I'll try it...LOL Thankfully, I have a very encouraging hubby :). Enjoy and once again welcome!

Welcome! Northern Indiana is just lovely, especially in the fall. We use to live in Greenwood when I was a kid. Beautiful seasons there!

Blessings,

Shanda
