Hi, I'm Holly!

I'm a crafting, decorating, antique collecting, blogging, 50ish country girl. In Dec, I moved from a 365 acre wheat farm to the suburbs. It's an adjustment but I'll always be a farm girl/country girl at heart!

I love connecting with other women online but I'm also hoping to connect with other farmgirls in my surrounding area!

Much to my dismay, I accidentally left out the "A" in cottage in my user name. I guess there's no way to change it now. Oh well.
Cutie Pie Cottage is the name of my blog and my crafts so I just signed up with that- not realizing that it sticks.

I look forward to exploring your forum!

Yeah, I wondered if our incredible human minds would just read "cottage" without the "a" even being there and I guess it happened!

Holly, Welcome. I am across the state line, west of Spokane. I bet you could fix your farmgirl name. Email Brian. He seems to be able to fix anything and answer any question. If you would like to be part of our Over 50s group, we post under the "gathered up" grouping on the general chat forum. Just jump in and talk about anything. We have a group that post almost daily and you get to know some of the gals pretty well if you want to stay in touch.

Enjoy your new friendships here on the Farm.

Hey Holly,
WELCOME! WELCOME!!
My daughter and I were on a 3-week glamping road trip earlier in the summer into Washington and Idaho. One stop was Moscow were we had lunch with another farmgirl friend. Didn't stop at Mary Janes Farm this time but we were able to spend some time there at the Outpost B&B on our trip out in 2011.
Maybe next time we can meet you, too!
Welcome!

Hi Holly and welcome to MJF's! I'm a city girl with a country heart :) Lived on a farm as a kid but my grown up life has been in a city. I love antiquing, thrifting, crafts, decorating and anything creative. Rummage sales and estate sales are also fun but I don't do as much as I did when my kids were little. I do a bit of gardening in my tiny 5x5 raised bed but it yields enough for hubby and me. I have 2 grown sons, one grandson and a new daughter in law. Hubby and I have 2 cats and a spoiled rotten little shorkie named Dickens. I know you'll love being here at Mary Jane's. It's a great site and lots of friendly gals.

Enjoy!
Cheryl

Hi Holly, We have a lot in common. I too love to collect antique, do art, sew, make jam and I am in my 50's too.
I have been working on "What to do with the middle years of my life?" I'm a cook at a pre-school & daycare but looking for a change and I still want to be able to work on and sell my art.

Welcome! I'll bet if you email Brian at the farm he would be able to help you get your user name corrected. Or, you can also leave a post for him on the support forum. Enjoy your time here!

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

Good Morning Holly! I'm a newbie too, but only to Maryjanes Farm because I to used to live very rural and have had to adjust so I know it can be extremely difficult. I'm glad to be a part of Maryjanes Farm Connection because like you I will never be anything but farm country. I wish you a happy, healthy and farmfresh fruitful day!
