Posted - Aug 09 2013 : 7:04:17 PM Wahoo...this is going to be so much FUN! I am excited to meet new friends who share my love of going back to my roots(or boots)! I would love to meet everyone from CO, Wy too! I garden indoors as much as I can since I have been renting since 2008...ugh so wish I could get my own place! I have been piecing together income sources to try to make ends meet so I am open to swapping/bartering to make this upcoming season a FUN one. I create more than I consume so let me know what ya need. Would love to stock up my pantry for the winter~I just bartered for firewood and have been cuttin n stackin for a week now!
I recently jumped into owning a horse~my first ever! My dream is to work with abused animals to provide them with a safe sanctuary for healing and FUN. Plus I am hoping to garden with hydroponics to feed everyone! Someday....
I can't wait to say Howdy and get started on this journey

Posted - Sep 20 2013 : 07:57:37 AM I am in Estes Park girls and we need help! Most of us are without income for who knows how long. If you can help us spread the word that there are online ways to shop this season to help us it would be awesome! My online sites are www.etsy.com/shop/annetteswhimsies www.lifesadventures.us
A portion of everything I make will help others in town (today I am helping a family who needed childcare and helping some horses). I am currently seperated from my horse and may not be able to see him for the winter months since we still have only 1 route in and out...itis pretty but will be deadly when winter sets in,

Posted - Aug 20 2013 : 09:45:12 AM It is so wonderful to hear from all of you! I love gettin to know each one and hope we have many FUN conversations. My indoor garden was started a few years ago when I was very ill and confined to stay inside~I started a dwarf cherry tree, a goji bearry bush, a grape vine, some herbs and tomatoes, cukes and a few other small veggie plants. So far I have not killed too many~last winter I had fresh tomatoes thru Feb! I am starting all my fall veggies now and hope this winter I will have tons of fresh food! My goal is to someday have a hydrogarden that produces all I need! Someday....

Posted - Aug 09 2013 : 7:28:38 PM Hi Annette and welcome to the forum. I am one of the gals here who hail from NJ. We have a small place just around 5 acres. We raise chickens and dogs at present. Dh would like to get a milk cow and some for meat. Hasn't happened yet though. I am Mom to 3 grown children and Grandmom to 5 littles so far. Great that you can barter to get what you need!
