Posted - Aug 06 2013 : 03:48:55 AM hi everyone
I'm Emma and I am from Athens, Greece but I was born in England. I'm finally happy to be part of the community as I've been lurking around for a little bit but I'm here now so that is all that matters . I am looking to meet some new friends on here and looking to contribute to the forum as you guys are great and I have learn't so much from alot of you already. I'm into sewing, making hand made jewellery (just started with that) and also scrap booking and card making. I can contribute something to the forum actually is that when I do my card making and scrap booking instead of using template fonts on my computer, my friend showed me how to use free fonts from the internet so i can share that little tip with you, this is my fav font at the moment, Scrapoholic font - http://www.fontsaddict.com/font/scrapoholic.html love it! isn't it cute?
Anyway, chat to you all soon, hope you like my little tip for today :) Emma |

Posted - Aug 06 2013 : 6:20:18 PM Hi Emma and welcome to Mary Jane's. I love your name as that was my maternal grandmother's name also. She was my favorite gramma :) I'm 56 yrs young and barely a day goes by I don't think of her and miss her still. Thank you for the font site. I too love making cards and I do a lot digitally on my computer with my card making. I use Paint Shop Pro 13 and make many of my brushes and tubes and use them in my designs. I also love using pretty fonts and am always on the lookout for good Font sites. Here's a site you might enjoy checking out: http://www.urbanfonts.com/free-fonts.htm I have a whole folder on my puter I've dedicated to font sites so I'd love to swap and share them with you. Just shoot me off a msg and I'll list out more for you. I also do a little jewelry making and have plans to begin on a scrapbook with things from my youngest son's wedding which took place this past May. Is so very nice to meet you and hope to chat soon. Huggz

Posted - Aug 06 2013 : 1:11:38 PM Welcome Emma, Hello from Texas. You will love this site. I have learned so much here. The farm sisters are the best. Always there when you need a friend. I too am obsessed with English history as Marcy. Those English kings and queens were always up to something. I loved visiting London. I will be looking for you on some of the forums.
