Hi all! I'm a home-schooling mom of 6, ages almost 10, 7, 6, 4, 2, and almost 3 weeks, and a proud military wife to an incredible man! I love to garden, sew, craft, learn more about herbs and essential oils, and cook from "scratch." I'm looking forward to learning more from each of you and hope I can be a blessing to someone in this journey of life.

Thanks everyone :) The kids definitely keep me busy, but I LOVE it... errrr most of the time :D Sleepless nights are kinda catching up to me right now, but I guess that is the joy of having a newborn :)

Shanda - thank you for your support of military families. My hubby has been in for almost 17 years... honestly, we are ready for retirement in a little over three years so we can truly homestead. Where we are right now, we cannot own any chickens, goats, sheep, or any other critters :( We do have a raised bed garden that I enjoy working in and canning/dehydrating/freezing the bounty.

Wow that's a handful! I've got a little boy and he keeps me busy! I can only imagine having 6 to love! You should get a merit badge just for that! lol
Cooking from 'scratch' is my pitfall. Hopefully I can learn some good habits here. I do love to cook and bake, I just don't have the warm fuzzies for my kitchen. That's about to change!! Blessings!
