this site and I'm happy to be a new member! nndairy is my older sister and while visiting her this past weekend she was showing off some of the swap items she was getting and making.
I grew up on a farm until I went to college. Lived in the city for about 8ish years and now found myself living back out in the country on a dirt road just south of Battle Creek Michigan!
We have raspberries, grapes and a peach tree. I've got 3 cats and 2 dogs. I'm a teacher but love to craft and make things, taking pictures is another fabulous hobby of mine!
I look forward to getting to know everyone here!
Betty

Many welcomes, Betty! I'm familiar with Battle Creek and love Michigan--I went to school up north, at Interlochen Arts Academy. We spend some time in Ypsilanti for the airshow, too.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

Janet, we are actually coming up to the UP for a vacation on Saturday! I love it up there! This will be my boyfriends 2nd time up north in a long time.
I'm still working on my garden and flowers as I have to put a raised garden in due to the soil not being well from all the oil and such.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

Welcome Betty!!! Looking forward to getting to know you. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I live in town so only have a Yorkie, but do have a small veggie garden and of course, flowers and herbs.
