I'm excited to join this group of women! I'm a city girl that fell in love with a country boy that wanted to move back to his grandparent's farm near Tulsa, Ok. I've loved every minute of it (yes, even hauling water to all my critters in these recent freezing temperatures) knowing that Spring will come (eventually) and I can dig in the dirt and garden again. We have a small dairy goat herd and are expecting our first kids in early March. We have almost as many dogs as goats (people keep dumping them). So glad to be a part of this and welcome all advice, wisdom and humor!

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Thank you Laurie, and all you lovely ladies. So far I am so enjoying this. I had a short get together with one of my chapter ladies today, and she has 5 others interested. I am so excited. Life is good.

Hi Ann,
I seem to have the same problem with people dumping things ... only I get cats! And I love them all. Welcome, and enjoy!
