New here and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Eren and Im currently living in WI (just N of Chicago). I grew up in TX and OK and miss the South so much. I love gardening, sewing, cooking, crochet, etc. I stay at home with my boys (twins age 4 and an 18 mo. old). Looking forward to "meeting" you all and hearing some of those nuggets of knowlege I know you gals have to offer.

Hello Eren and welcome. I am north of Milwaukee by about 45 miles. I think you will like it here once you get settled. Wisconsin has lots of cool things to do and a festival or fair of some sort every weekend almost every where. The sate, county and city parks and lakes are to die for and the weather you never know what to expect, it may be raining one minute and sunny the next. Like the saying goes You don't like the weather in Wisconsin wait a minute and it will changed. We are also the state of two seasons some say Winter and Road construction. Enjoy Wisconsin!

Pray for our troops to come home safe and soon.
Enjoying the road to the simple life :>)

Hi Erin,
A sure way to avoid housework.....live outdoors! That's great, I can manage that about 7 months of the year here in my greenhouses! Moving back for the winter into a small house (1300 sq.feet) with a family of five and a million critters is a bit depressing. Good thing we get along so well.

Welcome to the group!

I hope you enjoy it even half as much as I have! I look forward to getting to know you as I see you around!

Welcome, Eren. My "baby bro", as he calls himself, lives in Green Bay. Chicago is where he and his family go to get citified. They really love living there. But, they've lived in WY, too... and lots of places, so are really rootless. I understand your sense of loss being so far from home. I sure haven't gone very far, myself! But to be home with three precious children is such a blessing... And this forum is so friendly and helpful. We look forward to hearing more from you!
