Hello farmgirls from the woods of eastern ct. Just finishing my house cleaning after a really lovely get together last night. Makes the cleaning that much easier. A vegetarian roulade, a peach and blueberry pie with peaches from my tree out. A campfire and some knitting to celebrate the new fall. The rain even held off.

So many sisters! So many chat rooms and hen houses... all a little bit confusing but so glad I joined. A beautiful warm, warm October day here. The chickens and ducks are enjoying their foraging, especially after a day or two of rain. Harvested a dozen or so mini-pumkins yesterday.

As if with magic.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! This does sound like it will be great fun. Now all I have to do is to remember to go on the computer once in a while. (And get used to typing on an iPad.)

As if with magic.
