Hey there from Texas, I am new to these boards. I found Mary Jane's Farm while I was looking for a gardening magazine, I didn't quite know what I was getting myself into. I read threw April's issue then bought June's and now I am a farm girl. I grew up in the suburbs with weekends at my grandma's farm, and I long for the day I can have my own. I can't wait to get to know you ladies.

Blessings

Melanie

Hi Melanie and all new farmgirls! I am also new. I purchased the magazine for my mom and myself for mother's day and wala! I'm so excited about the fg sisterhood. I have started a new chapter here in my little rural town as we didn't have a local one. We had our first farmgirl meeting last night, just kind of an introduction and it was wonderful! Home made pimmecan bars and safety pin bracelets! The girls really enjoyed themselves. If anyone has anything they would like to share or ideas how to make a new chapter successful, I am open to any suggestions you would like to share! Thanks so much and God bless!
