Hi everybody my name's Mary and i just joined. I'm sister #4195. I've been getting the magazines for several months and finally decided to join up! I've been out of High school a bit but I haven't moved on to college just yet. Hope to study and become something that makes enough money to afford the farm I dream of. Right now i live with my parents in a condo in Mississippi with 2 dogs, 3 cats, and many ferals cats I feed. I enjoy sewing, knitting, gardening, and reading just to list a few things. I'm really looking forward to being a Sister!

Kansasfarmmomma, I've looked into all sorts of things. The main thing right now is the fact that my pop is an electrician and works out of town alot and my mom and I go with him in our rv. So i haven't really wanted to start anything until I know we'll be staying in town awhile. I'm thinking about being a nurse since it isn't a very long school and I could get a job just about where ever i went. Till then I'm just hanging out and planning my future. :)

May your bobbin always be full!

Welcome Mary! I am new here too. Have you looked at going to school for something ag related that would at least allow you to work on a farm or with farms until you are able to get one of your own? There are a TON of different options depending on what you like to do :-)

Welcome, Mary. Iknow you will enjoy the sisterhood. Hope you continue on to college and fulfill your dreams. Having an education gives you more choices in life and when you want a farm, animals and all that goes along with it, it is nice to have choices. Best of luck to you. Look forward to seeing more posts from you.
