Hey, Kelly Diane here, farmgirl sister #4115. I'm new to all this and just wanted to introduce myself! I've got a wonderful husband, and 2 amazing girls (ages 4 and 6). I am a stay-at-home mom. My husband used to work all the time, but his job went overseas, so now he's going to school to be an electrical engineer. We live in an apartment off of my parents house, and will continue to until he's done with school (one more year!!) We dream of building our own home and farm, but make the best of our current situation. Looking at the bright side of things, the girls are so happy being close to their grandparents, and I am able to continue to be a stay-at-home mom while we are here, which is very important to us! I love sewing and crafting, and growing things, and playing with my kids. Nice to meet you all, and hope to hear from you soon!

Smile always!

Thanks so much Judy! It gets hard sometimes, not liking the school district we're in, close quarters, etc. But I keep telling myself it'll be different someday! At least we're all together, happy, healthy, and thankful. ttys

Hi Kelly and Welcome!
So glad you have that apartment(next to the grands)to live in while your hubby is doing schooling. My sister use to have a farm with a MIL apartment off the back of the garage. I stayed there before with my house-bunny. We loved it. It was just one room and a bath, but it was all we needed at the time!
Again, Welcome!

Well, Kelly, the foothills are mainly that...just hills, some are pretty steep....but, yes, I absolutely love it here. You see I was raised about 3 miles from where I live now, on the same gravel road. I have lived other places, but there is no place like home!

Love,

Marylyn
