Hi All, I have been off doing other things for a few years, so haven't been posting. We are finally settled back into the ranchhouse. We traveled around for a couple of years, then moved in with my mother until she passed away, and last year started working on the ranch. We got moved back here in November. We have been working constantly since then, but I finally have a little time. We have a few longhorn cows, and will be building a chicken house soon, for just a few old hens. Life is good.

Hello, from the morning side of the hill.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

Thank you for the kind welcome. The conversation has grown since I was last here. It is wonderful to know that there are so many women sharing the farmgirl values. Yes, we do live up on the east side of a mountain, really a butte. Our ranch runs from almost 5000 ft above sea level, down to about 3000 ft. It is a way different climate from the rest of the Treasure Valley in Idaho. Lots more snow, later grass, and good spring water. Love it here. I look forward to getting to know all of you again.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

Welcome back Kennie Lyn, I guess you have been busy and I am so sorry you lost your beloved mother.
Life is about the same on the farm, lots of fun and and more new farmgirls, you were missed and we are so happy you are back with us.
Hugs,
Debbie

If you are lucky enough to live in the mountains you are lucky enough.
