Found this fabulous website through a friend and I look forward to earning merit badges! I'm looking for a local henhouse, but having problems in my neck of the woods (chapter contact email not valid, no answer from another chapter...). Hoping to find a Farmgirl Chapter soon! I need to connect with some local yocals! I love to bake and cook, but hate cleaning up after myself. I'm hoping to glean some green cleaning tips and getting involved in the Farmgirl movement!

Hi there. The group here in Yakima died out simply because I got too busy and the co-leader moved. There are a group of girls in Prosser and I think they still get together and do some crazy fun things! At any rate, I'm always up for a visit on the front porch if you are ever in my neck of the woods. My ranch is a little oasis here :)

Welcome!
A few years back there was a chapter out here in the Spokane Valley but the leader moved to Montana... We had a meeting once at Julia's on the West Plains but her life got busy and crazy...

There don't seem to be any other farmgirls out here in the Spokane Valley. Everyone seems to be on the West Plains or up north.

I'd like to someday find a group to do gardening, canning, and outdoorsy stuff with. I know, I know, I could start one myself but already have a lot going on including I host walks and hikes for "Spokane Women's Walk and Talk" (a local Meetup.com group).

Anywho, it would be nice to meet you someday and some of the other farmgirls in the area.

Welcome Rosey. I live on the West Plains, by the AFB. There are quite a few of us gals around. I haven't found a chapter either ... unsure whether one is active, or no longer active. But, I have met up for coffee in Airway Heights with a few gals. AH was a good spot because some were coming from Cheney ... Let me know if you would want to come down. You can email any farmgirls by clicking on our names to the left of our posts. It goes through the MJF site.

Nice to meet you.
