Hi ladies,

I'm new here, been loving the magazine for a couple of years and finally decided to sign up with women that have the same interests as I do.

Been ocean fishing all summer, almost every weekend. My boyfriend owns a 23' fishing vessel and I own the truck to tow it He can't go fishing without me. Looked for yellowtail and the tuna to no avail. But we did manage to get a few nice halibut in the bay. I also love canning my own tuna and yellowtail. Actually won 3rd place a couple of years ago at the LA County fair.

He's also been deer hunting in his area, been chasing a particular buck for over two weeks. He finally got him last Friday and we spent the weekend grinding the meat and smoking summer sausage. Man did that come out good! Now it's time for duck season.

I'm not too sure how much duck hunting I'll be able to get in this year, I'm scheduled for a histerectomy on the 15th of December and Marc (the love of my life) will be out of the country for the next 4 weeks on business. I'll be in good hands during my recovery though, he's taking care of me Hopefully I'll be able to get some hunting in before the end of the season.

Anyway, I look forward to all your posts and stories!

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.
