Posted - Oct 31 2011 : 4:32:12 PM Hi Y'all, I'm new here... but loving it. It's so nice to see 'sisters' sharing.
Just a little about myself: I'm from Tennessee where I was raised on a farm. In my adult life - I have raised cattle; big gardens; and canned and preserved lots of different foods. Now, I dream of things on a smaller scale. Raising milk goats, sheep and spinning; growing lots of flowers, a few veggies, and enjoying one day at a time with my children and grandchildren. I mill grains to make bread - sew and paint furniture. I sell antique and vintage furniture (some painted) online. I look forward to lots of 'farm' things... But right now my attention is on making soap and learning to make kefir. I welcome any advice - LOL

Posted - Oct 31 2011 : 5:23:29 PM Hi Connie, Welcome from Missouri. You will definitely fit right in here and could probably provide some of us with some great Farmgirl advice about a lot of things. Jump right in!
Love the furniture in your Etsy shop. I'm dreaming of a vintage full length cheval mirror. Haven't found one yet.
