Hi All, My husband David and I live in Lawson Missouri on 7 acres. So very peaceful, but sometimes it gets alittle lonely. We're both retired, so we can enjoy out land. After living in San Diego, CA 7 acres is a hudge amount of property! I just bought my first Mary Janes Farm Magazine and have fallen in love. I don't have many friends other than the church family, so I would really like to meet you all.

Hi Vikki,
I like my four seasons here in Missouri, but sometimes some of them seem a little long or extreme! I don't belong to a henhouse because I'm usually too busy cleaning the henhouse!!....or the pasture, or sewing, or something that takes my free time. Would love to join up with some other Farm Girls in the area though.

Hi Paula, It is nice in San Diego if you have alot of money and don't mind traffic and people all over the place. I just got back from a trip to Southern Cali and driving on the highways was terrible. Do you belong to a henhouse? So happy to hear from people close to me.

Hi Vikki,

Welcome from Holt, MO! We are just a hop, skip and jump across I-35 from each other. My husband's brother and family live in San Diego. I haven't been there myself, but I know it is very different than here in Missouri. It would be so nice to be retired and be able to enjoy the fresh country air during the daylight hours...but we are a ways off from being able to retire and spend our weekends catching up and puttering around the ranch.
