Posted - Aug 10 2011 : 08:45:59 AM Hi Everyone! this looks like a cool place to be so I am glad to have found it! I am a homeschooling Mom of two and have fallen in love with the country in Central Texas! Growing up I never thought I would live in the country but now I wouldn't see it any other way I raise chickens now and plan on doing a lot more of providing our own food. I love everything I have seen on this site an am glad to meet others who feel the same! I am excited to learn! For more about me you can see my blog http://rockysticksfeatherfarm.weebly.com/

Posted - Aug 12 2011 : 07:50:20 AM HI Bev, Welcome from a Florida farmgirl at heart! My country life was during my teen years and I loved it. I home schooled my daughter and she did great. I started my own group with other Mom's I knew that taught at home and we went on many field trips and loved every minute.

Posted - Aug 11 2011 : 07:22:25 AM Hi Bev, from a Florida farmgirl! We are going to build our chicken coop this year, and we have been growing our own organic veggies for years. Life couldn't be sweeter than when I am out in the dirt and connecting with nature. I will definitely check out your blog. Have a lovely day!
