Hi All, My name is Lillian and I am brand new to farmgirls. Recently moved to the Olympic Penninsula in Washington state and very interested in contacting other farmgirls, especially ones on the OP, or the hill country in Texas. (That is where my daughter lives and I am myself, Native Texas.) I garden, embroider, quilt & crochet. Taught myself to knit last year but only one project accomplished. A scarf. Hope to hear from others with the same interests.

Having trouble keeping up with all the emails! Put book on hold Montrose: life in a garden to read as requirement for one of the merit badges. Am working on a fleu de lis hand embroidered napkin, and just got pillowcases to embroider. Hubby and I are working on building a laundry/sewing room for me. I am so excited about it!

Hi Lillian from Florida! I am new too, but am having so much fun already. I spent some time in Washington a few years growing up, loved it there. Enjoy your day!

Loved All the welcome messages. Can hardly wait to hear from more farmgirls out there. I only get 1 hr on the computer at the library daily. Mine own computer is down. This is a great place! You'll be hearing from me again soon. I get all the emails on my phone but can't reply till I get to the library. Thanks again for the warm welcome. raingardenmeme

Hi Lillian
I like to embroider and needlepoint also and art and drawing and other crafts, I have made some plastic canvas kleenex boxes and you can really be creative on those..Its fun, Crocheting I am only able to do the single, double and triple chains but it makes me feel good when I complete something. Have fun

I said hi on your other post, so hello again! I just learned how to crochet, and of course my first project was a scarf, too! :) I know you will meet some fabulous farmgals on here. :)
