Posted - Aug 08 2011 : 6:09:55 PM Hi Ladies, I am a new member but have grown up in the dirt and romping around farms and orchards my entire childhood out west. I have spent the last 20 years in Florida, my family and I grow our veggies in the winter. We also have mango, avocado, and key-lime trees, and lots of pineapples.I am looking forward to making new friends and learning more. I love my simple abundant life and am so glad to be here! The first day I got my magazine I read it cover to cover 3 times . Have a lovely week!

Posted - Aug 11 2011 : 06:52:20 AM Thanks for the welcome Elaine, Cherise, and Nancy! Winnie, I love Gainesville, my daughter almost went to college up that way, and we have some family that lives nearby in Belle. Next time we head that way I will definitely send a message, thanks so much for the invite! :) Dorinda, Loxahatchee is in West Palm Beach, a rural area where folks love their land. I don't even think we are a city, just a small suburb of Palm Beach that has no rules on animals, what you can grow, etc. That and the good schools is why we moved up from Dade and Broward counties. St. Cloud is beautiful, I went there once for a wedding. I just love this site too, and all of your friendship! Have a lovely day everyone.

Posted - Aug 11 2011 : 05:08:19 AM Hi Jennifer, Welcome from St. Cloud, Fl. I live on a small farm. I love my home and where I live. I will have to get my road atlas out and find where Loxahatchee is located. Maybe we can meet up one day. Love the Maryjane site and all the inspiration I receive from it. Have a great day and welcome.

Posted - Aug 09 2011 : 12:07:17 PM Thanks for the welcome ladies, I definitely love it here. I got my penpal today, and joined the craft swap, what a great day already! Sarah, I was raised in every state west of Wyoming, my Dad was in the Air Force and that means we moved a lot when I was younger. I spent the most time in Utah, Nevada, and Idaho. I carry every little farm town in my heart that my Mom sought out to find us a home near the bases. Again, thank you all and Darlene, I just know we are going to love being part of this! |
