Posted - Jul 18 2011 : 09:13:11 AM Hello all! I signed up for The Farmgirl Sisterhood last year but only had one post. Apparently my thinking that I could complete my Master's degree AND keep up on the chatroom was a bit too ambitious!
I only had one post for the entire year, so I guess I'm-essentially-a newbie. I'm eagerly looking forward to perusing the fora and connecting with other farmgirls!!

Posted - Jul 20 2011 : 3:42:02 PM Awesome! Congrats on finishing your major! I am working on finishing my 4 year accounting degree right now so I know a bit about what you are talking about- but I think a master's must be much more intensive!

Posted - Jul 20 2011 : 08:36:36 AM I did, FINALLY, finish it with a lot of support from my ever-patient husband (lots of weekends going solo while I was at school working on my thesis). I'm glad it's done and I'm grateful for all that I learned along the journey.

Posted - Jul 19 2011 : 05:54:49 AM Welcome...and...I hope you can get the two chickens that you desperately want! I raise chickens and they are wonderful, entertaining and provide breakfast too! Enjoy the forum, I do.

Posted - Jul 18 2011 : 3:39:39 PM Thanks so much, gals! I'm excited to be back. Every time I canned or put on an apron I thought to myself, "I've got to get back to the Farmgirl Connection," but just couldn't find the time. I'm feeling like I will be able to manage it now with one less thing on my plate!
