Posted - Feb 26 2005 : 8:42:42 PM Hello ladies!
I am so happy to have found this site! I thought that I was all alone as farmgirl from Indiana. I had always hoped that there were other ladies out there that loved the country and could appreciate all that it gives to us. After working for many years managing our two businesses, I recently decided to stay home and raise our four children. I couldn't believe everything of beauty that I was missing everyday. I now feed the birds every morning, wash and hang my clothes outside, tend to the animals and prepare for my summer garden. At night, my mind is clear and I am at peace.
I only wish that more ladies could experience this feeling!

Posted - Feb 28 2005 : 05:54:26 AM Welcome, Lisa. I look forward to hearing about your farm and your talents.
Peace at the end of the day - that really encapsulates the essence of enjoying the natural things in life, like feeding the birds, and smelling fresh air. And enjoying the moon at night. As soon as I read that sentence, I had that feeling you get when you feel something that is totally true. Even though country living and gardening and farming is hard work, it completes us.
