Hello all! I'm confused by all of these nicknames, but I'm surely a farm girl! From Northwest Ohio.... Excited to learn more crafty things such as embroidery and craft projects, I'm more into the end of actually farming... I get up before the sun and go to bed before the sun sets, and spend my entire day toiling in 8 acres of organic food production!

What do you recommend I do next, what Badges did you all start with? Thanks!

Hello Katey! Just explore the forum and ask any questions you need to. As far as where to start with the badges just pick what interests you! Start with what gets you excited. These gals are pretty easy going and are always ready to offer their expertise if you need it.
We are glad you are here!

Welcome Katey! Just start wherever you are most comfortable. There is always someone willing to help here! I think I started with the gratitude, or was it the gardening...hmmmm can't remember! Anywhere is good!

Katey,
You will learn much here from all these wonderful women. We come from all walks of life and while not all live on actual farms we do what we can where we are. I would suggest you go through and read through some of the posts on the different topics as a starter. Helps you get the feel of the forum. Questions are always welcome!
I am not sure but I think you might need to join the sisterhood in order to apply for the badges as you complete them. You will find information for the sisterhood membership and badges here. http://www.farmgirlsisterhood.org/
And before I forget WELCOME!

Welcome Katey! This is THE place to learn and have fun! I only wish we could all gather in one place and have a "farmgirl convention" so we could meet and have fun in person. Hmmmmmm. Wonder if that idea has been brought up yet?
