Like Loretta I'm new to the computer but also new to the idea of farming. Born and raised in the S.F. Bay area I now live on 2 1/2 acres in Nevada. My husband spent many a summer on his Uncle's ranch, but is more apt to do than to teach. Where to start? Ideas or suggestions, I'm an open book waiting to be written in.

Hey Loretta...I'm from South Carolina...I'm new here too, I don't have a farm..or a garden..although I do have a few tomato plants...some herbs...one each of squash and cucumber...all in planters. I do have high hopes of one day having a little mini farm..but for now just reading up alot on raising a few hens for egg laying. Welcome..I love it here...the ladies are so nice and comforting.

I ask not for a larger garden, but for finer seeds.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
