Hello fellow Farmgirls!

I've been a member for over a year but the rigors of graduate school kept me too chaotic and busy to tend to my garden (both the physical and spiritual one!) but alas! That chapter has closed so let the new one begin!

I finally joined the Sisterhood this week as a treat for myself since every month I longingly read MaryJane's magazine, wishing I were a more active part of this fabulous group.

I just recently relocated to central Ohio and am wondering if there is a Sisterhood chapter in the area?

About me: I have an organic garden grown exclusively with heirloom seeds. I love to knit and read and write and I'm an avid antiquer. I love all things chic and shabby and someday aspire to have one of those glamourously wonderful tents like MaryJane has! And since I am not yet at a place in my life where I can realistically have sheep, I have kitties that I refer to as a flock. This is normal, right? I also maintain a blog, An American Florilegium, http://theflorilegium.wordpress.com/ where I write about basically whatever fancies me.

So that's all for now!

Cheryl-Lynn, I haven't looked lately, but there may be a new chapter started somewhere around here. Take a peek under, "Farmm-girl Chapters."

Thanks a million to everyone for the kind welcome! I so appreciate your kindness. A major reason why I finally decided to join the Sisterhood is simply to find like minded people and I can already tell that I made the right choice!

Do any of you know if there is a Sisterhood chapter in central Ohio?

Many hugs to you all!

Cheryl-Lynn

Welcome back Cheryl-lynn, from a fellow Buckeye. Glad you're here again! This place, these Sistas, have become my new "Home." I love these Gals. They teach me, love me, let me cry, make me laugh and are just always there for me. Yup, this is "Home" to me!Enjoy!

Welcome to the Sisterhood. I've been a member on the Farmgirl Connection for years, but I too just recently joined the Sisterhood. It's so much fun! A flock of Kitties!!!!! I love that...

Hi Cheryl-Lynn, Welcome from Missouri. Loved the article about garlic scapes on your blog. I've got a batch of them growing in my garden right now! Might just have to throw together some pesto. Cat-herder here too. Kitty math is about as bad as chicken math sometimes.

I ask not for a larger garden, but for finer seeds.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
