Than 2 years ago I moved up state... we really enjoy it... we have 20'ish chickens 20'ish ducks and 2 goats, a boxer. and 3 boys 12,9,6. I am currently working on my first badges. green ones, I am so excited! I am sure you all have so many. any recomendations please let me know! any one in this ny, nj,pa area I would love to have a group has any one thought about it? thanks, lorraine

And Yes- to reiterate what Teresa said..we just started a Long Island Chapter- anyone that ever wants to "come down" is more than welcome. Our next get together is Saturday May 14th. We plan on attempting to make the chandelier in MaryJanes Idea book- so we can earn the beginner level of "Light the Way" badge and have something super neat to hang in our backyards this summer! I was disappointed when I found there were none near me. How ever, the forum has been a wonderful outlet for me. I plan to start a chapter once I get moved back onto the farm.
