Hi Everyone!

While I'm not really new, I'm re-introducing myself since it's been nearly 2 years since I posted anything here. I live in Idaho, not far from MJF and have a small farm myself. We have 3, (soon to be 4) Oberhasli goats, chickens and are planning to raise our timber frame home in May. I stay at home and home-school our three children and love cooking from scratch. I'm planning to spend more time here again to connect and build relationships with other farm girls!

A big Wisconsin hay dare to ya Kayla! We are so glad you came back. The picture of your goat that Alee posted is so cute and so is Nora. You really should check out the Farmgirls on the Loose Blog. I will be coming all the way from WI and can't wait to meet some of the western farmgirls.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Ahh...THANKS everyone! And, thank you Alee for posting those pictures! That's our Mirabelle...we were late taking her to get bred this year so we're going to have to wait again until next year for her to have babies.

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Welcome Back, Kayla!! I remember when you got your first Oberhasli!! I still have pictures of Nora and it!

In these pictures they had actually been asleep together until I wanted to get a picture and then they woke up as I walked towards them! The goat that Nora is holding is yours. It was her favorite. She talked about it for about a year and a half.

Hey from Ga.
Good to meet you.Sounds like you are a busy mom.I love cooking from scratch too. New recipes are my favorite. Easy new recipes are the best. I am not much of a baker though my mom is. She makes the best pies and desserts.Do you like to bake?
Glad that you are back on the farm
