Hey there!

I'm a natural born 18 year old farm girl. I live in north central Minnesota. I live on 7 1/2 acres with my family and 3 cows, 2 barn cats, 1 farm dog, 20 chickens, and 4 rabbits (mine). I live with my Dad, Mom and 3 of my 5 siblings.

Hugs,
MinnesotaFarmGirl

We live an hour north of Anoka and an hour east of St. Cloud!!!!

I actually have 2 different kinds of rabbits. I use to breed Mini Rex and sell them to local pet shops but everyone else also does that and I had a hard time selling my last litter. So I'm just getting into Angora rabbits. Mom saw the article about Angoras in one of the Mary Janes Magazines and asked if we should get those and forget the Mini Rex. Because we made a rule when we moved up here that if we were going to have an animal that it was either to give us something (eggs, milk, etc.) or is to do a service for us (protect our cows, or catch mice). The Mini Rex's weren't doing anything for us since I was no longer breeding them. This past January I bought a very pretty looking French Angora. We're going to see how spinning goes (I bought a drop spindle) and such and if it goes well we'll probably buy 1 or 2 more.
