Posted - Apr 06 2011 : 09:41:43 AM Good morning, My name is Alicia Carlson. I've recently been hired to take over Kevin's position at MaryJanesFarm Magazine. I will be handling the merit badges and video's starting in July and am looking forward to getting to know you all! A little bit about myself. I will be graduating from Washington State University in May and am looking forward to working on the farm! I was raised in Lake Stevens, WA and come from a family of dairy and cattle ranchers. Growing up my family owned everything from horses, dogs, cats, wild rabbits, birds, goats, cows, and sheep. I loved growing up on our mini 5-acre farm and have fond memories of learning from my grandparents about the farm lifestyle. Having been a campfire girl when I was younger, I became a Girl scout leader for a Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Idaho in 2008. It was such a great experience to pass on some of the traditions I was raised with and teach badge work to the girls in my troop. Having looked over the badges here at MaryJanesFarm I am excited to see what you submit and look forward to creating new badges with MaryJane and the crew. Cheers, Alicia
