I just signed up for this forum and want to introduce myself. I'm Pam, 35 years old, live in Fort Worth, with my husband and our cats & basset hound. We live in the city and both work full-time at very modern jobs, but we do keep a small vegetable & herb garden. I also can and preserve, use a clothesline, make my own candles, and generally try to embrace the simpler/older way of life as much as possible. I sent my info to the Homespun Girls group but would love to meet any other ladies in the area who share these same interests!

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Pam,
My DH & I spent 13 weeks in Fort Worth this time last year. We LOVE Texas! Thoroughly enjoyed the Cowgirl Museum, the Stockyards and brisket. Welcome. This is a warm and supportive group. Joey

Thanks, ladies! I am so happy to have found this forum, it will be so nice to talk to a group of like-minded ladies! I do not have any local friends who are interested in gardening or homesteading so to this point I have relied on the internet to ask questions and discuss things. I am excited about the possibilities here!
