I just wanted to say "hi" to everyone. I've been eagerly reading my MaryJanesFarm issues for 2years now, but I am just now checking out the forum. I'm excited to meet everyone and get more involved!

hi erin..just found ur post...welcome from arizona. My family is from fallriver. Most of old folks gone.mostly cousins. I was born there also and moved to calif. When I was young. Our family homestead is still there with only three acres left..i have always wanted it. And especially now. Cause I took after my greatgranfather the farmer... What I could do with those 3 acres...enjoy.....

That's the one!
Boy do we ever...and more coming soon. Its kind of fun walking between 3-4' snow banks, and with it that high, the snow doesn't get dirty, so it's still pretty. With that said, only 56 days until the First day Of Spring!!!!!!

Hi Erin, I'm doing the Spring Apron Swap - is that the one you are in? Do you have Snow?????
Curtains sound like fun - I have made many over the years.
I wish you the best with your sewing adventures!

Thanks Ruth! I just signed up for my first swap (an apron) and I'm really excited. My sewing skills are basic, so this will give me the reason to pull the machine out of the closet and get going. I actually just gathered everything I'll need to make my LR curtains, which I have been dying to do, so I'm hoping to get started tomorrow.

Welcome Erin! I'm originally from Scituate, MA and consider myself a New Englander, even though I haven't lived there in many, many years! I'm now in the North Georgia Mountains.
Jump on in and have a wonderful time! I love doing some swaps!
Hugs, Ruth

Hi Nicole and Marcy. I hadn't noticed too many New Englanders either, but I was wondering if it was just me. So far, I am loving it, so you'll definitely be seeing more of me!

Hi Erin,

So great to see a local farm girl. There aren't many of us around here. Hope to see you around! You are going to love it here.
hugs

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
