Hello Farmgirls,

I'm new to the chatline but not Mary Jane's magazine. I've resisted taking on one more thing but I really want to be part of this.

Our ten acres is in the Texas Hill Country, between Kerrville and Junction for anyone who knows Texas towns. Most folks would call it a ranchette but this is definitely a farmette!!

I can't keep enough water on my beans and squash but the ladies are still laying.

Love to hear from any of you,
Geranium Lady

Welcome Donna. I grew up outside of Austin and boy do I remember trying to keep the plants watered in the summer! All those dry weather tricks have come in handy out here in eastern Washington. Glad to meet you!

Hi
I definitely know where you are in Mt. Home. I lived in Kerrville and Ingram for about 12 years before moving back to West Tx. I live in Christoval now because I wanted the feel of the hills and live oaks:) I still have many friends in Kerrville and my oldest daughter lives in San Antonio so I pass thru going there of course. Glad you found us here, you will enjoy the gals and all the chatter/swaps and anything else you take part in.
Glad to have you

Terri

Welcome to the "Farm!" Glad you peeked out from those magazine pages and decided to join in. Right now is a busy time for all of us, with gardens and summer things, but you'll be glad you joined when all settles down. These gals are the best gal-pals you could ever want. Warm, sincere, funny, helpful, and just plain down-to-earth! We are a little "Sassy, Sweet and Spunky!" Welcome "GeraniumLady!"
