Hey there everybody!

Just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself! I just became an official farmgirl sister! Even though I live in the city (actually more suburbs) I am truly a farm girl at heart. I am originally from St. Louis, MO and lived in a few different places and then finally moved here 3 years ago. (Colorado is AMAZING!) I live in a small house with 3 other people, but we at least have a small yard, so I try to do what I can with it! I have a small veggie garden going, and have enjoyed some yummy tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs so far.

I am super excited to get some inspiration from this site and all the wonderful people that are connected! I've gotten started on earning some merit badges, its nice to have some motivation and inspiration to do all the stuff that I have been meaning and wanting to do!

Hey, thanks everyone!

So I have been taking lots of pictures lately to get my Farmgirl Shutterbug badge. If you want to see how I have been living the "farmgirl lifestyle" go here: http://s864.photobucket.com/albums/ab202/Laura-Jane/A%20farmgirl%20stuck%20in%20the%20city/
Some of these pictures are from back in May when I visited my parents on their farm, but the rest are of my own place where I live in Colorado.

Welcome Laura, from NE Ohio. You've come to the right place for "Inspiration&Information." These Gals are great. If they don't know an answer, they know someone who does. Enjoy!(but beware...it's habit-forming)hahaha

Welcome Laura,

There are a lot of Colorado Farmgirls here. Your going to love it! No matter where you live or how big your "farm" remember its whats in your heart and soul that matters!
I live up in Longmont to the north of you. You should check out the "farngirls of the Southwest" hen house. Many of us Colorado chicks hang our apron there.
