I live in what I call the Enchanted Wood in the Pine Barrens of NJ. I call my place Enchanted because I have some very special deer that live on my property, they are white (not true albinos though)They have surely blessed my life since I have been here.
I live on a small farm, a little less than an acre. I have two miniature horses, I raise cocker spaniels and have a litter due the end of this month Also owned by one little stubborn Corgi named Elly Mae and the love of my life, my German Shepherd, June - and let's not forget my Chocolate Dream Come True, my mini poodle, Holly Bush - I am owned by many cats and am involved with a NJ Feral cat program - I am a new mom to my Nubian goat baby boy, Billy Bahh Bahh - the cutest little bugger I have ever seen.
I work from home as a freelance writer and I also have an online used book business called Enchanted Wood Books -
Any New Jersey gals out there?

Thank you all for welcoming me - I feel like I have found my new home! I would love to share pictures with anyone who would like to see some of my critters and my woods and enchanted deer.

Little Billy Bahh Bahh got dehorned this week and neutered - it looks like it hurts but he is finally getting back to being his noisy little self - he was just bahhhing for his bah bah hehehe
I love animals so much, surely my life would not be as enchanted with out them.

Anyone close by me in NJ?

Glad your here Kathy,
Aunt Jenny's right, there ain't much cuter than a baby goat.
I have heard stories about the Pine Barrens, Jersey Devil etc.
But have also heard it is an enchanted.
It sounds like a beautiful area.
Please share your wisdom with us.
