Well, found you a couple weeks ago, nad stopped by lst week when we got 3 chicks.
I am a SAHM of 4 ..12yr boy, 11yr old girl, 5yr old 3..almost 4 yrold boy old and have a 6 moth old grandson I watch 3 days per week...
we moved here almost a year ago, 150 yr old farm house, barn & 7 acres...needless to say I am still adjusting..can't get past the bug ..mostly Wood Roaches...YUK...and snaKe thing..and the Bees and wasps now keep me from entering my lovely barn.
.I don't know why but I hate them and am terrified of them., I wish I could be like some of these women who just walk right by and act as if they don't exist..it is beyond me...and the dang caterpillars are so bad right now..I can;t sot on my porch with out sitting on one at night and I can't see to flick them off..so I don't sit
oh well,
trying to start a garden, have tomatoes and brocolli, still have cucumbers to get in the ground..my youngest eats 2 at a time by himself...I have to hide mine from him :)
Anyway, wanted to "formally" introduce myself and hopefully I can learn alot from you knowledgable women around here.

Shielah! What a lovely barn - I can see why the flying, stinging things make you nervous, they do me, also, but that charming barn has got to be some great motivation! Welcome, and thanks for the photo!

Welcome Shiela! My sister lives in Cincinnati and we have been to visit quite a few times. Ohio is such a beautiful state. Love your barn!!

Hi Shielah,
Welcome to the forum. I'm originally from OH and grew up in Akron. Where is Loveland,don't think I've heard of it.? I love old houses and miss OH archetecture. especially the barns. Moved to GA 18 yrs ago. I have to say the weather is better here.

Beautiful pic!
I used to be squeemish(sp) about bugs, but, as I have gotten older the bugs, snakes etc don't bother as much.
Just keep in mind this is your place and not to let the little things keep you from enjoying it!
