Hi. My name is Paula. I have three daughters (ages 6yr, 4yr and 3yr) and a son who is due May 3. am really excited to be here and to learn. I heard about MaryJane's book and went searching for a website. SO GLAD I FOUND THIS ONE! I am currently in the process of learning to be a farmgirl/keeper at home. We will prayerfully be moving to a homestead later this year (after baby is born). I don't have too much to share right now as I am in the process of learning. But soon hope to be sharing away!

I can sew a little bit. I am starting to expand my horizons in that area. I am hoping to start making dresses for my daughters. I would also like to start making things for the home (like curtains, sheets, comforters, quilts, etc.). But I have never made anything more than something that requires straight lines (like a small tote bag). I am also wanting to learn to crochet (but I have not been able to teach myself as I learn much better hands on with someone showing me and correcting me and encouraging me).

We live in Colorado (LOVE the mountains) and would love to know how to meet someone who can teach me some of these farmgirl things.

Well, that is about it for me. I do have two blogs:

http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/lvg4him - Living For Him

Blessings, Paula

Paula - no one will "flame" you here. I personally am living for Him, too. Welcome!!!!!

I visited your blog. So sweet! My daughter recently had a baby. In four hours! She was 3 centimeters when she went to the hospital, and they broke her water. I will be thinking of you, as all will happen quickly now, I am sure. Let us know, when you are strong enough, how the new little one is doing!!!!

Peace

Welcome, Paula - Colorado is lovely, isn't it. I spent a summer in Ft. Collins, and loved every minute. It really is that mountain thing - I need them, too.

Wow - a new babe so very soon - best wishes!!! I'm due to have a babe the end of July, and I'm envious of your May little one!!! Glad to have you here, and I just know you'll make some great friends and gain so much knowledge. Enjoy!

XOXO, Libbie

Hi Paula, let me be the first to welcome you. Sounds like you have your hands full with children right now. May 3rd is a good day for having a baby, it's my birthday! Good luck on your sewing projects. It's amazing what you can do sewing straight lines! Keep us informed as the birth gets closer. Glad to have you with us!
