Hi Everybody! My friend, Angel has been raving about how much fun she's had being a part of your Farmgirl Connection! How could I not hope to be a part of the fun. I've only been in Utah for almost 2 years, so I'm still getting settled into this snow for 6 months routine. I've had to add heavy jackets and snow boots to my wardrobe. We didn't need those in Texas! It sure is beautiful up here in Park City. We actually have four seasons up here... I've had so much fun looking around the Farmgirl Connection website and checking out all the fun stuff. I hope to talk to you all again soon. Thank you Angel for sharing your new friends! Kathleen

Posted - Apr 05 2006 : 5:15:10 PM Oh my..Kathleen so glad & excited to see you here, & pleasantly surprised! I haven't been able to get computer time for myself this week, had unexpected company in from the weekend, our friend with cancer from out of state & my husband volunteered me (and forgot to tell me, don't mind at all, but wish men would tell us so we can plan or make changes)to take him to Houston for the medical center & had to do the shop thing upexceptedly too, been a crazy week so far. Glad to see you on here & man look at all the responses, you talk about networking, how cool & Patricia has got an actual member, you'll love Kathleen she's great, I miss her very much down here, but I'm envious of her location at times too. Ha-ha Got to go figure out the dinner thing real quick, since I just got home. And can you believe we got/need to cut the grass again already,I should be mowing! Hopefully I can get back to this more later tonight. Take care Ladies & best always!! Bye Kat...Your friend always, Angel(Mike,Eddie & critters, too)

Posted - Apr 05 2006 : 11:19:31 AM Hi Cindy, Thanks for the note. Welcome to Utah! I was born & raised in Houston. I was fortunate to move to Coldspring for 6 years and had 22 acres of beautiful forest land. I was so happy to be in my farmgirl mode. It was hard work, but so worth it. I had a wonderful garden and learned to can my homegrown veggies. However, my life changed and now I'm here in Park City. It was quite a leap of faith, but again, so worth it! quote: Originally posted by Cindy Texas
Kathleen,
I am new here also, I have only been here about two weeks. . Where in Texas are you from? I live outside of Houston but I used to live in Dallas and then outside of Fort Worth. I can't wait to move and get to have four seasons also. That is not something we really have here in Texas. Have a great day!

Posted - Apr 05 2006 : 06:52:00 AM Hey, there! Welcome from Central Utah - I just love Park City; what a great place to live. I've lived in Utah for most of my life, and really like it. Salt Lake City, mostly, and then down here near Richfield. It's great to have another Utah farmgirl around! Enjoy!
XOXO, Libbie
