Angel, wish I could be there with you all! I know you'll have a great time. Stu and I are going to visit Aunt Jenny on Wednesday. We're going to talk about our Farm fair booth and see Mona and the lambs. We're taking our dog, Fritz. I wonder what he'll think of the farm animals?! Fun!

Hi Patricia,
Well looks like we should have a decent turn out for our 1st true farmgirl adventure this week, Kathleen (Ladywkat) is coming to join us too, she is down here for family reasons, not just us, but still very cool. So does that make you a chapter of two or have you grown more? I know you gals will being doing something that we will be jealous here for down the road. Kathleen is a great planning/party/activity all round cool girl.
Take care...Angel

Hi Patricia,
Just getting back to you, thank you for the reply. I've left a message for my friend up in your area, (Park City)
but haven't heard back from her yet. She is a true farmgirl at heart too!! I think she just started a new job, & she doing do some out of the country traveling with her work, so I'll have to get back to you as I hear from her, or who knows she may just jump in from hearing my message I left for her. In fact before she moved your way, she was growing & winning some awards at the local fairs down here for some of her goods, like salsa, pickles, etc. I told her I need her recipe for her salsa, so we decided to trade a recipe, so I'm going to send her one of my prized possesion recipes. Best always to everyone.... Angel

Thanks, Angel! Yes, the Farmgirls are quite a bunch of caring, loving and fun ladies. Park City is only 20 minutes away and I'd love to have your friend join. Good luck with the Southern Fried Farmgirls! I'm still trying to think up a name for our group but I'd like to have imput from others who join.

Patricia

I'm fairly new too myself, we have started the Southern Fried Farmgirls chapter. So glad to see you starting a chapter if even of one to start, you can only grow from here. Best to you...Angel

Hey, maybe we can all get together and Wendy can show us lacemaking. We can show her something she's interested in. such an idea! Jenny, the city of Draper is refusing to let a DI store into the town. Can you believe it? Everybody is all over them for being elitist. Sheesh.

Welcome, Wendy! It's great to have another Utah farmgirl around - I'd love to see some photos of the lace you make - I recently learned how to needle tat, and it's really fun to do.

Welcome!
