Hello everyone! I am from Illinois and my name is Lynn. I was born and raised on a farm and to this day, still farm. We have crops of corn, soybeans, sweet corn, pumpkins and squash. I love to sew, garden, craft, and read books. I will enjoy hearing from you.

Good Morning Lynn!

What a gal you are! I can't wait to hear more about your farm and the differences between when you were growing up and now. Do you sell at farmer's markets or to stores? part of a co-op? what kinds of tractors?

A friend of mine, Jeri, owns 40 acres and lets me and my girls ride her horses a few times a week. As help and thanks back to her I mow the acreage with their big Ford tractor. Well, if truth be told, I love driving that big machine! So, now I've got a thing for tractors.

Blessings
Catherine

Welcome Lynn!
You are only about 20 minutes from me! I live just over the state line, in Indiana. I go to Peotone all the time, taking our animals to the vet's office. My intro is somewhere on the welcome page, under "Hoosier Howdy" if you'd like to "get to know me". Sounds like we might have a lot in common! I love to read, sew, craft & garden too! Just learned how to do rug hooking this week! Look forward to chatting with you!

A Farmgirl Howdy, from a fellow Illinois Farmgirl. Welcome!

Not how long, but how well you have lived is the main thing.

Hi Lynn, and welcome! I'm out in the corn west of you. It'll be nice to hear all about you!

Hello, Lynn! I am from a suburb just west of Chicago and I know where Peotone is too! I used to pass it all the time on my way to SIU (down good old 57). Very nice to meet you!

Welcome Lynn...how wonderful to be raised on a farm and still get to be doing it. Being a farmer has been my life's dream. I know I will no doubt never have more than my little mini-farm (and I am so thankful for that) but can't help but say LUCKY YOU!!!! I am so glad you found us!!

Hi there! I'm from a northern suburb of Chicago. And I know where Peotone is! Site of a new airport -- maybe -- right? Anyway, welcome here. Lots of friendly folk already aboard, and I know you'll enjoy your visits. -Kathy
