Hi all....I think of my place as a small Farm/Ranch. I moved here about 7 years ago and about 3 or 4 years later realized that this is what I had wanted since I was about 5 years old. At my age now, it isnt easy but I wouldn't go back to County or Suburban life for anything!!!!!!! I have a mule, a few chickens, 4 dogs, and a cat. I have what I consider a large enough veg. garden and some blooming flowers...I love it out here. I even feed the wild birds!!!I am going to have a peach, apple, pear, and a cherry tree soon...I love the magazine. dxymulady.

Hi dxymulady!

I love your story! I too feed the wild birds. Lately we've been having Ravens visit our field. I love to watch them, they're so big. It must be mating season because we've seen them flying in pairs doing some kind of dance. I don't know anything about them, but would love to learn more. So what kind of birds frequent your feeder?
