Posted - Jan 30 2006 : 7:26:19 PM Miz Frannie told me about this site and I thought I'd pop on and say, "Hey!" I'll be back...I've got lots of reading to do! I don't live on a farm, but I grew up lovin' every minute of my Grandparents' Dairy Farm in Slate Hill, NY! Oh the memories!! I've had my share of animals right here too-pigs, cows and chickens. Right now I am thinking about my garden and getting my hands in that nice warm earth! Just dreamin' about spring's arrival! Hugs, Glenda ;o) |

Posted - Feb 02 2006 : 03:47:21 AM Welcome Glenda!!
How do you know Frannie? Any dirty secrets you could share? ha ha
I, too, am itching to get my hands in some dirt. I keep separating my big plot of oregano and putting plantings in pots for give-aways, just to have my hands a bit dirty each day.
Don't just read....jump right in and get your feet wet and chat away!
Blessings Catherine

Posted - Jan 31 2006 : 12:37:27 PM Welcome, Glenda. There are lots of us here who aren't living the farmgirl life as far as actually owning a farm. We learn and dream and grow together. It actually seems like Spring in Georgia today. I even bought my seeds earlier...talk about Spring fever! You'll enjoy it here. Frannie keeps us entertained, for sure. Have fun reading.
