Posted - Jan 19 2006 : 3:00:48 PM Hey Gals!
I just wanted to let everyone know that baby Gavin arrived just before rooster's crow on Wednesday morning. He is healthy, nursing like a champ, and content. I'll get some photos on my blog sometime this afternoon.

Posted - Jan 25 2006 : 4:16:20 PM Congrats to the whole family!! A week old...and I bet he's already grown a bunch. 4 hours of sleep....that's pretty good, you sound like and look like you can survive on that! But, I hope it gets longer for ya'. I haven't been a part of this farm for very long, but sure do feel like you're family. Please keep sharing the pics.
Hugs and Kisses from Texas Blessings Catherine

Posted - Jan 25 2006 : 12:19:26 PM Thanks to all my farmgirlfriends for welcoming my little bundle. He's a week old today, and such a joy. His big sister still can't get enough of him. He even sleeps for about 4 hours at a time at night. We're all happily adjusting to our new family of four.

Posted - Jan 22 2006 : 4:09:10 PM First of all Annie, I love your name -- it is my daughter's name! Second of all, I'm so happy for you and your family on the birth of your son! You must be so happy, and very, very tired. If I lived close I would bring you a casserole!m (my daugher is only 14 months so the memory of no sleep is fresh, and not such a memory.) :) |

Posted - Jan 22 2006 : 10:24:42 AM Yes, he IS my grandson and yes, he is lovely, as is big sister Olga, who is helpful sometimes, and almost helpful other times. Just want to report that Annie was sewing this morning! If they owned fields, she'd be out in them, sowing or raking or herding sheep or something. Can't keep a good woman down. I'm so proud. I'm online on Annie's computer, but this is Julie R. All puffed up!

Posted - Jan 20 2006 : 7:22:43 PM Annie,
You look glorious as always! I will NEVER forget you showing up to the Lewiston Fourth of July BBQ with nothing but a bandanna around your motherlodes . . . you and your family are true originals and I am honored to be part of your extended family (if you'll have me!). Anyway, for reasons I'll whisper to you the next time you come to visit, I'd prefer to call the newest member of clan Robertson 'Rocky.' Looking forward to you and Olga and Eric and . . . Rocky coming to visit the next time you're in Cache Valley.
Love ya, Tami
PS Pete was delighted to see Olga's scribblings end up on the rafters of our barn. |

Posted - Jan 20 2006 : 09:04:21 AM Annie! Only a farmgirl would be knitting mice for me and shipping packages just hours before having a little baby! The last I had heard from you, you were doing a happy dance. Then I sign on to see your bundle of joy. (I couldn't help buy laugh at the possibility that the two were related) Congradulations....& welcome, little one! Judes

Posted - Jan 20 2006 : 08:36:28 AM Thanks everyone for the warm wishes. We are settling in very well today, and some of us are even catching up on our sleep. It's great to be eating real food again. There's hospital food, which I'm sure many of you are familiar with, and then there's military hospital food, which is a whole different ball game. In retrospect, a few packets of MJF food would have come in very tasty. Annie
