So glad to finally be a part of M.J's thanks to my friend and sister member Cheryl...K-Falls Farmgirl..... who introduced me to this wonderful organization! I'm a basic-down-home-girl at heart and am fortunate to have a little spot in Washington that I can grow and raise things on. My company (aside from family) includes horses, chickens, doves, cats, Koi and lots of wildlife. I have many interests and hobbies so if you have time come visit my blogs sometime.

Sounds great! I just met another Seattle farmgirl for the first time last week...she's the first one in the area that I have met...It seems that there aren't many from around here on the forum and I would really like to get a chapter up and running!

Hi, Chelsey.......lacisne88! Yes, we're neighbors....I lived in Snohomish for a number of years before moving 5 miles north to Marysville! We have a small 12 acre mini-ranch and I love the country life (although it's in the middle of a new suburbia!)

Let's keep in touch!

It was about "older" people. lots of them woman who roam the country in their RV's, campers etc. One of the place they mentioned alot was Quartsite. It was a wonderful program. Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, cookies in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming. "WOOHOO, What a Ride!"
