Posted - Jan 27 2009 : 9:43:03 PM Hi Everyone!
I'm eager to start looking around, but thought I'd post a quick intro.
I'm a 47 year old mom of two daughters. Married to DH for 25 years last November. We also have a son-in-law and one granddaughter. Our second granddaughter will arrive in the next few weeks. :)
I did a 20 year stint in the corporate world and "retired" (a/k/a quit) in 2001. I've been making soap for 15 years. DH and I own a gift shop and craft mall - we purchased it nearly 2 years ago. (Economic problems??? LOL! We've seen lean times before, so we'll get through this one too.)
Other passions: homeschooling (still have a 16 year old DD at home), gardening, knitting, spinning, sewing, creating a lovely home.
I look forward to getting to know all of you! |

Life should NOT be a jounrey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming. "WOOHOO, what a ride!"

Posted - Jan 27 2009 : 10:06:08 PM Welcome Wandering Willow. You should fit in just great around here. A lot of the girls here make and sell their own shop in their etsy shops. I took a spinning class back last month and my friend bought a wheel and she loves it. I am so busy working on all my other projects, I'm planning on spending more time with it though. It's such a great thing! Well jump on in and have fun! Glad you are here! Farm Girl Hugs!
