Hi Shawnee,
I am in the other end of the country too.
I love to do the sewing and craft swaps. I also participate in the long and busy Apron (and more) forum.
Check out this video about Mary Jane and where this site came from!

Welcome fellow newbie! Gresham isn't far from me, really -- what's 40 minutes among friends and farmgirls? LOL!! Funny, we were actually headed that way today to visit a friend's jewelry shop in old town. And, my co-worker Sarah lives in Gresham, too. Small world.

My hubby graduated from WLHS in the early 80's and he tells me that W'ville was country back then. We also lived in WL until '97.

Now, we live in the pasture land! Go figure.

Thanks for the welcome!!

Thanks Cindy -- will you be crossing the border for the Sewing Expo in Puyallup at the end of this month? Should be fun.

I hear you about cold farmhouses. I'm sitting in the LR with a gas space heater going and my fingies are still chilled. Spring would be nice. We had a sprinkle of snow again today. =(
