I have been away for several months and am happy to be back on the board! My daughter's cancer is in remission and she gave birth a healthy, fat baby boy in July. My son has recovered from his car wreck, my other daughter made it through a BAD brown recluse bite that had her hospitilized where she caught a severe staph infection Oh and my 7 year old grandson that lives with us has recovered from the fall off the deck, that resulted in 2 complete breaks on his arm, 2 fractures and 2 operations............WHEW....
Anyway life is good, we are all here and blessed to be healthy, have a roof over our head, food on the table, & family and friends to share it with! Now I have to catch up on the boards

Hello Tamara. I'm not too far from you and I've been to Pikeville. Beautiful little town full of nice old houses and antique stores. I need to get back up there one day.

I am glad your family has pulled through all their troubles. And now another little grandbaby. Aren't they great?

So welcome back and nice to meet you.

Hi! I am new..but..welcome back! you have been through the mill haven't you? I can empathize with your daughter that was bit by the brown recluse...when we were moving in to our new house as we were emptying a storage unit I was bit by one. thank goodness I didn't have as bad time as your daughter! Hope that everything stays better!
