Posted - Dec 10 2008 : 3:13:40 PM I am brand new here. Was doing some searching on the net and ran across this site...it looks wonderful! So much information...and so many nice people...it will take me days to look at it all. I live in east texas...am a stay at home wife...worked in the health field for a long time(RN) until Fibromyalgia and Hypertension and other health problems caused me to "retire". I am 49...been married for almost 32 years...have 2 wonderful grandsons who are 3 and 5. I have 2 grown kids. I love to create...had a painting pattern business for awhile under the name of Tin Lizzie Designs but when we sold our place I packed it all away for almost 2 years. We just moved in to our new home that we built a month ago and I have finally unpacked all my crafting/painting items and hope to get back into the biz again. I also have recently started doing penny rugs and want to learn to rug hook. Hmmm...not sure what else to say about me,lol. I look forward to getting to know everyone! Darlene |

I am relatively new myself and know exactly what you mean about needing days to read so many posts LOL! I'm really enjoying the forum so far.
Have you discovered Mary Jane's magazine yet? That was my first introduction to this nice "world". ;-) The Dec-Jan issue is on newsstands at the moment.
Glad you're settled in and hope you can start creating again! :-)
