My first posting! I have been a farmgirl at heart all my life, in real life, we've had our 10 acre mini farm for 6 years now. I am active in 4-H as a leader. With help of hubby and 4 grandchildren, we raise and show goats, chickens, pigeons, rabbits and a mini horse. We maintain a herd of 9 cats, all avid mousers and 4 dogs who keep the predators at bay. I have a sewing needle in hand at all times, with quilting an brazilian embroidery my favorites. Looking forward to meeting new people and new ideas.

Welcome Lorraine, we have boer goats we raise and sell. My daughter has had one for a 4-H project for past 3 years now. I'm also a 4-H leader. It's great to have you here! Sounds like you are a busy lady.
I look forward to getting to know you. It's wonderful here.

Welcome, Lorraine! I love to quilt also... but decided a while ago that Brazilian embroidery will have to wait until I'm grown up. ;-) It looks absolutely gorgeous but a little daunting to someone whose needlework has typically been counted cross stitch LOL!

Take care~
