Posted - Dec 09 2008 : 6:00:29 PM My first posting! I have been a farmgirl at heart all my life, in real life, we've had our 10 acre mini farm for 6 years now. I am active in 4-H as a leader. With help of hubby and 4 grandchildren, we raise and show goats, chickens, pigeons, rabbits and a mini horse. We maintain a herd of 9 cats, all avid mousers and 4 dogs who keep the predators at bay. I have a sewing needle in hand at all times, with quilting an brazilian embroidery my favorites. Looking forward to meeting new people and new ideas. |

Posted - Dec 10 2008 : 12:10:59 PM Welcome, Lorraine! I love to quilt also... but decided a while ago that Brazilian embroidery will have to wait until I'm grown up. ;-) It looks absolutely gorgeous but a little daunting to someone whose needlework has typically been counted cross stitch LOL!
Take care~
