Hello everyone, I'm so pleased to have discovered this forum.
I'm a city girl gone country; hubby and I moved to Prince Edward Island recently where we purchased a glorious 25 acres.
We are living in a 22 foot travel trailer with three cats while we build our own house - hoping to get in before the snow flies!
Priorities first, though. I made hubby build several small chicken coops, so now we have far too many chickens and two geese.
I have no idea what I'm doing yet, but I hope to learn!
And now that I'm 'official,' I've got a LOT of reading to do on this site!

hi Melanie,
I'm from the Belfast/Eldon area, halfway between Montague and Charlottetown - it's so beautiful here!
We've been to Bedeque a few times - actually got our Bantams from a fellow there, small world! Too bad you're so far away -well, relatively speaking, as PEI is so small!

Magdalene,
Love Prince Edward Island, so beautiful there. Well you found the right place for "learning" that is for sure. Sounds like you are off to the perfect start. If you dont have any of MaryJanes books yet, I would really recommend them.. Start with her Idea book... you will have more "ideas" than time...

I so look forward to getting to know you and following your plans, welcome.. welcome... welcome!
