Posted - Oct 29 2008 : 11:34:51 AM I'm so happy to have found this site. My name is Shannon and my dh and I just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. We have two boys who are 8 years old and 16 months old. We live on 30 something acres that my inlaws own and they live next door. We actually have a small yard though. It's been a dream of mine since before we moved here to live a farming life, but since dh grew up that way he has not shared the dream. It's taken me 7 years and a lot of talking, but he is finally coming around. Well, I could talk all day so that's enough for now. LOL

Look forward to hearing more about your farm plans and dreams! Katy

Posted - Nov 03 2008 : 11:32:41 AM Hi Everyone, My name is Bonnie and I am new to Mary Janes Farm. I live in South Louisiana, about 50 miles North of New Orleans. My husband and I live on 10 acres. I am a Farm girl at heart. We use to have some horses. We also had 7 more acres that we used for flower and veggie gardens. We had to sell the 7 acres because of my husband's health. I am so glad to have found this website and books. I am looking forward to meeting other Louisiana Farm girls. |
